Meet Chris
More than a decade ago, my wife Amy and I made the decision to raise our daughters, Megan and Madison, right here in Issaquah. We were drawn by the city’s unique blend of a welcoming small-town spirit and the convenience of a thriving, vibrant community. From excellent schools and safe neighborhoods to beautiful parks and the stunning natural landscape surrounding us, Issaquah offered everything we dreamed of for our family—and easy access to the broader region meant we never had to choose between opportunity and quality of life.
Now, as a proud Issaquah resident and community leader, I’m running for City Council to protect and preserve the qualities that make our city truly special. I am committed to ensuring Issaquah grows thoughtfully and sustainably—creating a community where families like mine can flourish, where everyone feels safe, valued, and heard, and where local businesses can thrive in a supportive environment.
Together, we can build a future for Issaquah that honors its rich heritage while embracing smart growth and inclusivity—so this city remains a place our children and grandchildren will be proud to call home.

Traffic and mobility are essential to Issaquah’s economic vitality and the overall quality of life for our residents. In recent community survey results, residents made it clear: addressing traffic and improving mobility must be a top priority. On Council, I will work to ensure that our transportation policies reflect the community’s needs—supporting smart, sustainable solutions that ease congestion and improve daily life.
